Condition & Notes

This unit is in like-new condition (new-old-stock), and is complete with all the original packaging, software CD, and documentation.

This keyboard is notable for being Apple’s first wireless keyboard product, introduced alongside the first Wireless Mouse at the Apple Expo Paris 2003. Bluetooth was still relatively new at this time, making wireless peripherals still quite uncommon.

According to Apple, this keyboard uses “Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH)” to prevent interference and perform reliably.

 Packaging

This keyboard is NOS (new-old-stock) and has never been used.

Keyboard

There is no wear whatsoever on the keys due to the NOS condition of this keyboard. This is quite unusual to see on a keyboard from this era — most are now well-used and worn.

With battery cover removed (via small latch at bottom). There is a pass-through power switch with a small green LED which glows when the keyboard is turned on.

Documentation

User’s Guide, Bluetooth regulatory info, warranty pamphlet, and software CD.
