Condition & Notes

This unit is in like-new condition (new-old-stock), and is complete with all the original packaging, batteries, software CD, and documentation.

This mouse is notable for being Apple’s first wireless mouse product, introduced alongside the first Wireless Keyboard at the Apple Expo Paris 2003. Bluetooth was still relatively new at this time, making wireless peripherals still quite uncommon.

According to Apple, this mouse uses “Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH)” to prevent interference and perform reliably. It is also notable for having NO built-in scrolling capabilities.

 Packaging

This mouse is NOS (new-old-stock) and has never been used.

The bottom of the mouse has a cover that can be slid over the laser, to effectively turn the mouse off and block the laser.
